Seeing What Others Miss

I translate the invisible. For the past three years at Olson Zaltman, I have conducted deep-dive ZMET interviews for Fortune 500 brands including General Mills, Amazon, Pfizer, Horizon Organic, Coca-Cola, Constellation Brands, Colgate-Palmolive, and Molson Coors, to name a few. My work is rooted in behavioral science, translating unconscious consumer emotions into the strategic direction that shapes brand positioning and innovation.

My instinct is for the unspoken truth. Through moderating and analyzing hundreds of in-depth interviews, I have learned to perceive the quiet motivations and invisible emotional drivers that others miss. The constellation theme of this portfolio is my methodology. Every career milestone and every insight is a data point in the dark. Where most see scattered stars, I see lines between them. I connect dark data, the invisible, emotional, unstructured truths that live beneath the surface, into a clear, actionable map that brands can follow.

The instincts honed through 15+ years of competitive riding—reading body language, sensing tension before it surfaces, and adapting in a split second—are the same instincts that now guide every interview, every insight, and every strategic recommendation I make.

The team skills I cultivated at the NCAA Division I level shaped my approach to collaboration. I thrive on strategizing and brainstorming together. I believe the best work, and the most team and individual growth, happens when many brains collide. I feed on feedback. I see it as a vital tool for growth, helping both the team and the work move with more heart and clarity toward the truth.
